Radio, television and movie personality Donnie Simpson hosted the “Donnie Simpson Morning Show” from 1993 through 2010, and has seen a lot of changes in the business of radio, and in the history of hip-hop and popular music. He chats with Ed Lover about his long career, and even opens up about why he eventually decided to join BET when it was so young, and why he was at first so hesitant to do so.

He also revealed how he ended up getting into radio in the first place, and what he wanted to do before he realized his calling. He also opens up about what he loves about the medium of radio, and what he dislikes about what radio has become.
