It was once said, “Cash Money Records is taking over for the ’99 and the 2000s”, now they are placing their claim in 2016 with Apple.
Cash Money CEO Birdman has signed a deal with Apple Music for an exclusive documentary about the label.
Founded in 1991 by brothers Birdman (aka Bryan Williams) and Slim (Ronald Williams), Cash Money emerged as a hit-making record label with hits from Juvenile, B.G. and the Hot Boys. The label continue it’s growth with massive success after signing superstars Drake, Nicki Minaj and of course, Lil Wayne.
Lately, Weezy and Birdman have fallen; citing money issues. Although reports suggest they have reconciled, lawsuits are ongoing.
