On September 24th, America saw the fruits of a decades-long labor when the National Museum of African American History & Culture opened up. The museum has battled a lot obstacles, but with the help of President Obama, it finally open its doors to showcase over 36,000 artifacts representing the history of blackness in America.

Since the museum opened there has been no shortage of praise for the museum’s architecture, content and layout, and patrons are already reporting powerful feedback about their time there.
