Lelee, founding member of the incredible R&B group SWV, came through to the morning show to chat with Ed Lover & Monie Love. She takes it way back to the beginning and explains how they recorded their first demo, and reveals what they were calling themselves before they landed on “SWV.” Lelee also recalls the first time they heard their song on the radio.

Plus, nowadays, when even R&B singers are beefing with each other, it might be hard to fathom a time in the music scene when beef wasn’t running rampant, especially between different girl groups.
