Tamron Hall made the decision to walk away from her major contract as an anchor at The Today Show, after she found out her show was being cancelled. Her morning show, “Today’s Take,” (which is entirely separate from her spot on The Today Show), was a high-rated television program featuring her alongside Al Roker every morning at 9am. Her ratings were higher than competing programs in that time slot, and her guest appearances on other shows on the network tended to spike ratings as well.
