The world watched and we are still in awe after Beyoncé’s Grammy performance.

It was one of the most highly anticipated performances at the 59th annual Grammy awards. Beyoncé was introduced by her mother Tina Knowles, and shortly after she took the stage, fans didn’t know what to expect.

In the beginning images of a pregnant Beyoncé flashed across the screen, accompanied by women from all different races and ethnicity. Beyoncé appeared wearing all gold, looking like a Queen. Later we understood that it was in homage to African goddess of love, Oshun, as was also illustrated in her stunning visual album, Lemonade.

Twitter and social media went crazy during and after the incredible performance.
