Hall of Fame rap icon Ice Cube continues to make major power moves in Hollywood.
The legendary rap star is up for a role in the new animated “Spider-Man” movie, according to reports. Cube is reportedly in talks to lend his voice to a pivotal character in the forthcoming movie. The west coast emcee is being eyed for the role of Spidey’s dad Jefferson Davis, who is an ex-NYPD police officer with a sketchy past.
Other actors confirmed for the project include rapper Donald Glover, Robert Downey Jr., Marissa Tomei, Zendaya and Stan Lee.
The new untitled “Spider-Man” movie is expected in theaters on December 25, 2017.
