Young Dro talked with Ed Lover about celebrating 11 years in the business, since his 2006 hit “Shoulder Lean.” He discussed being signed to a label while having two of his own; “every strong tree has branches.” He also talks about his long friendship with T.I., who he has known since he was 16 years old, and making it in the business together.

Plus, Dro talks about being a southern rap artist who was always inspired by New York rappers, which influenced his lyricism to be different than his southern peers in rap, and created a unique sound for him. Check out this exclusive video to hear more of this interview on the “Ed Lover Show.”
