Forever21 and Urban Outfitters are being sued by entertainment photographer Danny Clinch over 2Pac T-shirts sold by the retailers. Clinch filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against both retail stores for using unlicensed photos that he took of the late hip-hop legend.

One of the items is a jersey with Pac’s 1996 Rolling Stone cover photo on the front.

The lawsuit was filed in New York on May 31st and Clinch is seeking $600,000 in damages–plus he wants any other merchandise remaining to be destroyed.

“Defendants, without the authorization, knowledge or consent of the plaintiff, deliberately and willfully copied, displayed, distributed, and sold the copyrighted photographs on such infringing T-shirts and perhaps other apparel,” according to the lawsuit.
