The South’s best come together on a new song from Big Boi‘s third solo album Boomiverse.
Daddy Fat Sax delivers “In The South” featuring two Southern rap legends. Fellow Atlanta native Gucci Mane who is on the opening verse. The familiar voice of the late Pimp C of U.G.K is on the track also.
Big Boi has teamed up with both Gucci Maine and Pimp C in the past.
Gucci was on “Shine Blockas” off 2010’s Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. Also UGK (Pimp C and Bun B) collaborated with OutKast (Big Boi and André 3000) on the classic 2007 single “International Players Anthem (I Choose You).”
Boomiverse also features appearances by Jeezy, Killer Mike, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Curren$y, Sleepy Brown, and Adam Levine and will be released on June 16th.
