Ed Lover in a special episode of “C’Mon Son! sits down with Grammy Award winning record producer Zaytoven to talk about why people love trap music so much and how people need to stop trying to compare old-hip-hop to new hip-hop. Zaytoven has worked with everyone in the industry from Usher to Gucci Mane, Migos as well as gospel-artist Lacrae and more.

The well-known record producers love of music began in church where he learned how to play several instruments including the keyboard and drums. A fond memory shared was how he would make beats for his cousins just so they could perform them on the karaoke machine. “I was a fan and never knew I would be able to do this,” Zaytoven said. Although he doesn’t know where he will be in the five years, he mentioned “God brings things that you weren’t even thinking about to be excited about.”
