By now we have all heard Jay-Z’s “The Story Of OJ” from his platinum selling album, 4:44. One of the more popular lines from the song was a jab to basically the whole industry where Hov says, “Y’all on the ’Gram holdin’ money to your ear… There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.”
“Y’all on the ’Gram holdin’ money to your ear… There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.”
Well apparently Drake didn’t get the memo. While partying up in Houston for the city’s HAW festivities, Champagne Papi took what many are calling a jab at Jay.
In the video Drizzy says, “What they say, don’t put money to your ear?…. I didn’t hear that.” But Drake wasn’t the only person to subliminally respond to Jay-Z, his collaborator for, What A Time To Be A Live, felt some type of way about it as well.
Jay did also say, “In the Future other n****s playing football with your son.” So Future more than most would definitely be taking a shot at Hov.
