• Date/time: May 5th

We would like to invite our listeners to join us for the 2018 OneAmerica Mini Marathon on Saturday, May 5th. We are looking for volunteers to help staff our water station outside of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s Gate 2 entrance off 16th street. This includes handing out water to 40,000 participants and providing high energy excitement as the runners run by our station. The 500 Festival and all of its events and programs are a success due in large part to the efforts of more than 3,500 volunteers filling more than 7,000 volunteer positions. You make it happen and we are very appreciative! Please log on to https://2018minimarathonpitstations.my-trs.com/ to sign up for the Radio One team now!

VOLUNTEER GUIDELINES:

At the end of your shift, if you have not been relieved, please tell a supervisor and stay in your area until a replacement comes. If this is the final or only shift of the event, please check with your supervisor before leaving.

When you commit, you commit to the selected shift(s) and the entire shift time. If you do not show up for more than three of your scheduled events, and do not cancel in advance, we reserve the right to remove you from future volunteer assignments and activities, including Volunteer Appreciation Day.

We will do our best to honor your first choice, but it is not guaranteed.
